Tatu Santaniemi a.k.a. DesmondTatu is a music producer and bass player currently based in Cologne, Germany. He has worked widely in the Finnish music scene with different artists and bands since 2008.

Recently DesmondTatu has concentrated more on working in studio on his Brazilian influenced productions. In his work Tatu is concistently exploring the possibilities of combining influences of the underground and mainstream.

DesmondTatu is a versatile musician and he is familiar with various different styles. By working with numerous different bands and artists in Finland, Brazil and Denmark he has developed his skills to meet the most demanding needs in live and studio settings.
